Job Position in The Bead Project: Paper Cutter & Leader

Alice has been a part of The Bead Project for 10 years and
currently works as a paper cutter on our leadership team. In order to roll
paper beads, papers have to be cut to specific shapes and sizes that determine
the style of the bead and Alice is a pro! She says she loves the craft of
making beads and jewelry and “there is no fashion that [she] can’t make.” Alice
also enjoys the element of teaching that goes into helping women who are newer
to the program. Financially speaking, she says her job has allowed her to do so
many things she did not have as opportunities before and her faith in God has
also grown through TWOPU’s partnership with Pader Community Church.
